About Sande Strings

Sande Strings has been in operation from Fall of 1999, and is operated by Penny Sande.  We offer music instruction including lessons on violin, viola, cello and bass, plus offer instruction in music theory.  Our mission is to create musicians, through a love of music, whether they end up as a string player is their choice.

Beginning students are are able to make music very quickly and a variety of music instruction concepts are utilized.  We don't feel that one size fits all, or that one style is right for every student.  Our students may be of any age, but we focus on providing beginning to high-intermediate string instrument lessons to anyone who has a desire to learn, from young school-age students - many as young as 4-5 years old to grandparents!

It is exciting to see our students improve to the point where they can then participate in their school orchestras, community and church orchestras.  Not to mention participation in one of our own string orchestras run again by Penny Sande. These young musicians enjoy playing a variety of music including seasonal holiday, classical, fiddle, ethnic, and movie theme songs for the purpose of performing regular concerts in Santa Clarita and a variety of events throughout Southern California.

Our peformance groups have performed at many weddings, charity & local events, including frequent performances at Universal's City Walk, our local mall, Best Buy and numerous appearances at our friendly Barnes & Noble.
