Jr. Orchestra Summer Camp

This is a one week camp - meeting M-F  July 16-20, 2012  9:15-11:45am

With a performance FRIDAY - 7/20  in the evening (location & time of concert are dependent on the number of students who sign up!)  Current Jr. Orchestra 2nd violinists - will be promoted to 1st violins with new violinists being welcomed as 2nd Violins. As usual, we will work on basic ensemble skills and music reading skills, to follow and support the melody, along with moving beyond the standard 7 tones learned as a beginner (i.e. low 2 on violin/viola or playing the 2 on cello).

• There will be rotation so that new members will be able to handle playing for this longer time period with breaks.
• A snack will be provided at 10:45 for all students – daily.
