Summer Music Theory I - Basic Training

7 Thursdays at 5:15-6:30 starts  6/14, 21 & 28, 7/5, 7/12, 7/19, 7/26

If you've never had any music theory, we start here. From notes, clefs (all clefs - yes that's right -- even viola's Alto Clef), scale building to chord structures and intervals, to the basics of writing music.  We'll cram a lot of learning into 7 short weeks!

And for for THOSE who have taken Music Theory - Level 1 / we'll expand on your knowledge going more into chord structures, and dip into writing music and creating harmonies.

I use a differentiated learning style of teaching - which means the one room school approach of several students at different levels with different needs - working together when possible and apart with different goals as needed.

There will be some homework.  This is an excellent class for any single voice instrument player (not piano or guitar).
