Penny has taught school-age children, starting as early as age 4!  And while its true young children can learn to excel at music, many of the most amazing students in the Sande Strings program started at either Middle or High School age.  Including a few college students and adults. So if you or your child have any interest in playing, then contact us and discuss your situation. Penny is talented at working and engaging with very young children, and their enthusiasm and and motivation to learn are a direct result.

As your young budding musician builds skills to a certain level, they may want to join one of two orchestras that Penny runs - either the Junior Orchestra, or her performance Orchestra. Penny's orchestras are hired by social, civic and business leaders all over Southern California - particularly during the holiday season.

Private lesson rates (payment for the month due the first week of the month)

• 30 minutes  (most beginning students) $25
  
• 45 minutes  $35
• 60 minutes $45

First lessons usually take an hour (but I charge only for only 30 minutes), and most students only require 30 minute lessons.  The longer times are usually for gifted and advanced students.
