A String Bass is that BIG!

BNS10aKSbThe biggest instrument in the classical String family, is also one of the most versatile.  Also called an Upright Bass, this is a really fun instrument to play.  Sharing the same strings as a bass guitar, students can easily learn both!

The only problem is where to get one.  Our current bass player, is also the only bass player for her local High School.  Thereby saving her family a few thousand dollars by not having to purchase one!

This is the only instrument in this string family that is not tuned in fifths, and the strings names are the same as violin but inversed.  The high string on the violin is an E (like a guitar) and the lowest string on the string bass is an E (like a guitar).
