Tree Lighting Ceremony Dec 2008
Our first time playing the Valencia Community Tree Lighting Ceremony.
Next year we'll know better what to expect. It was fun being up on a stage with microphones (even if it took about 4 songs before they turned us up loud enough to hear).
We were delighted to be introduced by the Mayor.
We were walking with our instruments (having left our cases in our cars) and were offered a ride on the courtesy shuttle! Look at those smiles!
We entertained as the scheduled events went on.
With the microphones you could even hear Eric & Jessica's pizzacato.
Not a frontal view but as you can see ... our mal cellos (Joel & Jaeger) appear to be weather proof. Will we see Tori or Amber in any Pictures?

Today's first violin section either resting or between songs.
Again Penny is playing (for balance reasons) instead of leading. After this concert all the violins ARE trained on the first violin parts so that no matter who we have, we can cover our parts! ... Somehow, I don't think she'll stop playing with us, but we can try! Look you can even see Paul & Kristen for a change!
We'll not exactly a frontal view, but yes ... we do have a viola (Amber & Paul) section. Oh, and look ... you can see a side view of Tori too!
