2010 May Barnes & Noble

Back to play the same concert, with a slight change (I'm back on Viola), but otherwise the players remain the same. Karlie brought the KORG, and after adjusting the volume, it was so much better than when she plays on my Yamaha.

This second concert went quickly from number to number, Kristen played Jericho with us this time, and it went well.

Highlights from the concert include Lainey/Eric and Mai/Casey and all their solos in the Bach Double, Brianna's solo in the Godfather, Jill's intro to Singing in the Rain, Lainey & Eric on Fiddler, Kristen & Karlie on Pink Panther, not to mention Joel's solo work in the Godfather, Pirates and the spontaneous Allegro.

Other than my coughing jag during Star Wars, the concet was practically flawless.  I had even practiced the viola parts too!

Its nice to be albe to see all the violinist's faces.

Kristen wasn't able to attend more than a total of 1 practice, after starting to play Bass, so she hadn't had enough time to learn all the songs.  Even though she isn't playing in the pictures above, she played 9 of the 12 songs with us!
