Our cello camp was well attended. This camp was designed to allow experienced violinists who had learned to play cello at an accellerated rate, to sharpen and broaden their skills and bring them up to their more advanced musical skills.

Working with melodies, the stretches and sliding necessary to cover many of our standard songs were framed and filled in. We were concerned that since we were unveiling our clever playing skills for the general public that we needed to be a bit more polished, but over all the 11 songs we elected to perform were pretty well executed and generally fun!

We performed inside Borders Bookseller, and they were very helpful and gracious. And each of our cellists & Bassist - did an outstanding job! Thank you all!

Additionally, we'd like to thank the four violinists who came to our last few rehearsals so that the songs could be performed at our concert. And even though it would appear that the kids never have any fun -- one smile was preserved on film (even if the smile-"e" wasn't playing at the time). Thanks to Bill and Heidi Young for taking and sending us the pictures so quickly!
